Accessibility Statement
Last updated:
We want BabyCare AI to be easy to use for every parent, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is built directly into the app's code — we do not use accessibility overlay plugins or toolbars. If you encounter a barrier, email us at support@grlz.co.il or call +972-50-907-5907.
1. Our commitment
Gorillaz Group sees accessibility as part of product quality. We aim to ensure that people with visual, hearing, motor or cognitive disabilities can use all core features of BabyCare AI independently and on an equal basis.
2. Law and standard
The Service is developed with the following requirements in mind:
- the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998;
- the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, including regulation 35;
- Israeli Standard IS 5568, based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA.
3. Accessibility built into the code
We deliberately do not use accessibility overlay plugins, widgets or toolbars. Such tools often interfere with screen readers. Instead, accessibility is built into the markup, styles and logic of the app itself and is checked during development.
4. Measures in place
- semantic HTML with landmarks and a logical heading structure;
- a skip-to-content link at the top of the page;
- full keyboard navigation with a clearly visible focus indicator;
- buttons and form fields have clear labels (label and aria-label);
- images have alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers;
- live regions announce the results of actions;
- the Hebrew version is displayed right to left, pages declare lang and dir attributes, and Russian and English versions are available;
- text contrast is designed to meet level AA;
- text can be zoomed to 200% without loss of content or functionality;
- responsive layout from a screen width of 320 pixels;
- touch targets are at least 44 pixels;
- the reduced-motion system setting (prefers-reduced-motion) is respected: animations and 3D scene motion stop;
- the 3D baby scene is decorative, and the same information is available as text;
- the app works without the 3D scene if WebGL is unavailable;
- dialogs keep focus inside and close with the Esc key;
- forms have no time limits.
5. Browsers and assistive technology
The Service is designed for current versions of common browsers. We have checked it with NVDA and Chrome on Windows and with VoiceOver on iOS. These checks do not cover every combination of devices, browsers and assistive technologies; if you run into difficulties, please let us know.
6. Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the Service are not yet fully accessible:
- scanned documents (photos of discharge letters) are images: the extracted text is shown as editable text, but the original image itself is not accessible to screen readers;
- AI answers sometimes contain formatting issues (for example, lists or headings may not display correctly).
We are working to fix these limitations.
7. Third-party content
- The nearby hospitals map uses a Google Maps component, which may not be fully accessible. A text list of places with links is provided alongside the map.
- Community chat messages are created by users; we cannot guarantee the accessibility of this content (for example, descriptions for images).
8. Accessibility coordinator and feedback
If you encounter an accessibility problem or need information in an accessible format, please contact us:
| Role | Name | Phone | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Accessibility coordinator | Gorillaz Group support team | support@grlz.co.il | +972-50-907-5907 |
To help us respond faster, please include:
- the page or feature where the problem occurred;
- a description of the problem;
- the browser and assistive technology you use;
- your contact details.
We aim to respond within 30 days and to fix the problem within a reasonable time.
9. Date of this statement
This statement was updated on 5 October 2026 (2026-10-05). We review it whenever the Service changes significantly.
10. Physical accessibility
BabyCare AI is provided online only. The Service has no physical service center open to the public, so physical premises accessibility requirements do not apply to it.
