Terms of Use
Last updated:
These Terms govern your use of the BabyCare AI web app, operated by Gorillaz Group (Tel Aviv, Israel). BabyCare AI is a free assistant for parents of children aged 0 to 3. It does not replace a doctor: in an emergency, call Magen David Adom at 101. By using the service you agree to these Terms, to our Privacy Policy and to our Medical Disclaimer.
1. Acceptance of the Terms
By opening, installing or using BabyCare AI (the Service), you confirm that you have read, understood and accept these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service is operated by Gorillaz Group (גורילז גרופ), Tel Aviv, Israel (WeWork Midtown) (we, us). These Terms are published in Hebrew, Russian and English. If the versions differ, the Hebrew version prevails.
2. About the Service and its price
BabyCare AI is a web app (PWA) that can be installed on your device. It supports parents of children aged 0 to 3 and includes, among other things:
- AI answers to baby-care questions (based on OpenAI technology) and an offline knowledge base;
- a day tracker (sleep, feeding, diapers and more) and WHO growth percentiles;
- a vaccine calendar based on the Israeli Ministry of Health schedule;
- a fever helper and a paracetamol and ibuprofen dose calculator by weight;
- a medical record with illness and hospital-stay logs, and discharge-letter scanning (by AI or on-device text recognition);
- sleep sounds, cry analysis, and AI photo checks of rashes, skin and toy safety;
- a translator for doctor visits and a map of nearby hospitals (Google Maps);
- a community chat, reminders and push notifications, and family accounts shared by two parents.
The Service is currently provided free of charge. Where relevant, the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, applies. If paid features are introduced in the future, prices, payment terms and cancellation terms (including cancellation under section 14C (14ג) of that law) will be presented to you before purchase.
3. Not medical advice
The Service is for information only. It is not a doctor, not a medical device and not a diagnostic tool, and it does not replace examination, diagnosis or treatment by a qualified professional. See our Medical Disclaimer, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
In an emergency, call Magen David Adom at 101, the Poison Information Center (Rambam) at 04-7771900, or go immediately to the nearest emergency room.
4. Eligibility, account and family sharing
The Service is intended for parents and guardians aged 18 or over. By registering, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
- One account per person. Do not share your account with others.
- Keep your password secret and tell us without delay if you suspect unauthorized access.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter about yourself and your child.
- A family invite code gives whoever joins with it access to all data of all children in your family, including medical records. Share the code only with someone you trust (for example, the other parent).
5. Acceptable use
When using the Service, you must not:
- break the law or infringe the rights of others;
- enter data about a child for whom you have no parental or guardianship rights without the permission of the child's legal guardian;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts or our systems, or bypass security measures;
- use bots, scraping or automated means to extract data in bulk or overload the Service;
- upload malicious code or content that infringes anyone's rights;
- use the Service commercially without our written consent.
6. Community chat rules
The community chat contains messages from other users. We do not review them in advance and are not responsible for their content. Chat messages are not medical advice. In the chat, the following is prohibited:
- spreading medical misinformation or advice that could harm a child's health;
- insults, harassment, threats or hate speech;
- sharing other people's personal data (including photos, names, phone numbers or medical information) without their consent;
- advertising, spam and commercial links.
We may remove content and block users who break these rules without prior notice. You can report a violation to support@grlz.co.il.
7. Your content and license
You keep your rights in the content you enter or upload (logs, photos, documents, messages). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process and display that content solely to provide the Service to you and to those you have chosen to share it with (for example, family members or chat participants).
You confirm that you have the right to upload this content and that it does not infringe anyone's rights. The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
8. AI features and their limits
Some features rely on artificial intelligence models from third-party providers (including OpenAI) and on automated algorithms. Their results may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. In particular:
- AI answers may contain errors, even when they sound confident;
- discharge-letter scanning (AI or on-device text recognition) may misread text, numbers, drug names and doses — always check the result against the original;
- cry analysis is heuristic and is not a diagnosis;
- AI photo checks of rashes, skin and toys are not a diagnosis or a safety certification;
- machine translation for doctor visits may contain errors — confirm important details with the medical staff.
Do not make decisions about your child's health based solely on AI results.
9. Reminders and notifications
Reminders and push notifications (for example, for medicines, vaccines or feeding) are provided for convenience. We do not guarantee their delivery or timing: it depends on your device, operating system, battery-saver mode, settings and browser. Do not rely on notifications as your only reminder for medicines or other important actions.
10. Third-party services
The Service uses third-party services, including OpenAI (AI features), Google Maps (hospital map) and the push-notification services of your browser and operating system. Your use of these services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, content or accuracy (for example, addresses and opening hours on the map).
11. Intellectual property
The design, code, texts and knowledge base of the Service belong to Gorillaz Group or its licensors and are protected by law. The 3D icons are provided by third-party licensors and are used under their licenses. You may not copy, modify, distribute or use materials from the Service beyond normal personal use without our written consent. You keep the rights in your own content.
12. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service running reliably, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue any feature or the Service as a whole.
We may update these Terms. The new version is published on this page with a new update date. We will announce material changes in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes are published means you accept them.
13. Disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided as is (AS IS) and as available, without any express or implied warranties, including warranties of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, Gorillaz Group is not liable for any damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service, including decisions made based on its content, AI answers, calculations, translations, recognized text, notifications or messages from other users.
You agree to compensate Gorillaz Group for reasonable losses and costs arising from your breach of these Terms or of the rights of others, including through content you upload.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, or any consumer rights that cannot be waived by agreement.
14. Termination and account deletion
You may stop using the Service at any time. You can delete your account in the app: Account → Delete account. Before deleting, you can download your data: Account → Download my data.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if these Terms are breached, if the law requires it, or to protect users and the Service. Data retention and deletion are described in our Privacy Policy.
15. Privacy
The collection and processing of personal data, including your child's health data, are governed by our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy. Information about the accessibility of the Service is in our Accessibility Statement.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts of the Tel Aviv-Yafo district have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service.
